A to the Z

I just got home after a heck of a lot of driving! My dad, brother and I drove out to Arizona to visit them. After getting back from Disneyland on Fri night (going to sleep at 2am) the boys came and picked me up at 5:30am. They squished me in the backseat on Jake's toyota pick up truck and we drove the 6ish hours to see Dan and Ry. The drive was not toooooo bad, Expect for the space in between the two benches that I was laying on and a head cold I was able to sleep through a lot of the morning. We got stopped in Yuma, AZ by the border patrol at around 11am. They had us pull over and get out while the dog sniffed through EVERYTHING. We sat on benches, after Jake got frisked, while they pulled out everything out of all of my bags and anything else in the truck.... luckily we were clean! We got to AZ and it was so good to see my sister and brother in law. All the boys got busy doing odd jobs that needed to be done around the house. They moved the fan into the room, did some electrical work, put in dimmers... just little fix its. Danielle and I made some AMAZING home made decadent chocolate ice cream and italian sodas. At 10pm after all the work we put in a Chevy Chase movie and hit the hay. The next morning we all decided to just lounge around the house. We made mochas, and when Ryan came home from leading worship we made some delicious breakfast burritos! We watched another Chevy Chase movie and BBQed and then got back on the road at about 6pm... The drive was just about the same as before.... squished! We got stopped by the border patrol 3 times on the way back, but never had to get out thankfully. We made it to San Diego by 11pm and then dad and I left at 5am to drive home to Ventura... Hello crazy amounts of driving! It was a lot of fun though to hang out with Danielle and Ryan, short but very sweet! :)
