Welp, I'm here. I've been here for over a month now. and I like it.
It's good.
It's funny how everything always works out perfectly and at the right timing.
God has been at work in my life over the past two years more than I could have ever imagined.
I'm so greatful that I came to San Diego two years ago, and despite my regret, I am SO grateful he brought me home for the last year and a half. I'm so thankful that He chose to stir in me this love and passion for students to the point of mentorship. I'm so thankful that He chose to capture my heart and to take captive all my thoughts to the point of full reliance.
AND boy am i Thankful that He chose to have me come back to San Diego.
Quick update... I'm at Point Loma Nazarene University.
I have two roommates and am living on campus. They are both really nice, and we live together really well.
I'm still majoring in photography, and am loving the art department (i have discovered my obsession for Chairs and drawing them blindly)
I am dating a boy named Daniel and the Lord is doing a mighty mighty thing by loving me through him. I've learned so much through the process of this relationship so far and can't wait to see where it goes. He cherishes me. :)
I work at a private Christian school downtown on 3rd and Elm st. I am the afterschool leader for middle school. I work everyday with about 15 middle schoolers. Sometimes they are punks (as all 6th grade boys should be) and sometimes they are dreams :) I really like it though.
It's so weird having this routine though. I haven't been involved in a regular job or school for over a year and it's like the most weird thing haha. I got spoiled with being able to do photography, crafts, and nanny. But I'm learning to love it for the most part.
I make cookies at Daniel's house all the time (with 4 other roommates and a constantly open door, anything I bake is gone in 2 minutes flat. I adore it)
I miss my sewing machine and can't wait to retrieve that.
I adore coffee. I'm obsessed with coffee actually.
I drink soy milk now.
I love my New Testament class. My professor is AMAZing and I learn a lot.
My spanish class is a blast and I'm rocking in it.... not so hot in my histories though.... i'm workin on it
OKKKKKKKK. welllllll i should prolly blog more often for my hot-momma friends back home. I'll work on it. and maybe get some more interesting things up here.... that's the goal.
AND I'm working on the Uganda photos. I'm up to 4 CDs full of edited pictures. I'll be sending a few copies around :)
miss you friend! So glad to know you are exactly where you are supposed to be:)
