Choose Joy

Christmas traffic usually makes me have a headache. I sit in silence in the VW because there is no stereo. It is just so silly... these people literally come out of their homes once a year at the same time. It is impossible to get anywhere quickly, and I end up getting so frustrated with everyone!

So today as I'm waiting at a red light for about three turns on Mills Rd and I realize.... "hey, my phone has music!" So I whip out the phone and start to jam.... David Crowder, Phil Wickham, Something Like Silas, Chris and Conrad... on shuffle. Super encouraging. I don't honestly have a time frame, I don't need to make this light and piss everyone off. I don't have to be upset with the crazy lady who just stole my parking spot. I'm going to live if my speedometer stays under 20. I'm pretty sure anyway.

So, while you're making your last minute runs because you ran out of sprinkles, or wrapping paper. Or if you are shopping for everyone on your list, choose joy. Take an attitude check and maybe throw on some "jesus music".
