Last night I watched "Chocolat" with Dev and Kev. Wonderful, wonderful movie! Go rent it if you haven't seen it! :)
Robin and Kelly are both coming home tomorrow :)
All my friends are trickling in as their finals commence!
I love this time of the year. The spirit is so great, and people are so joyous! Everyone is thinking creatively and concerned about others! It's just great!
A lot of my presents this year are all hand made (I'll post after they've seen them!) which is fun! I've gotten creative in my thoughts for some people. :) It's really just a blast. I LOVE buying or making gifts for people!
Aside from that, I've been busy being the super-nanny of Ventura! I have watched a family of three boys (age 7 and twin 4 year olds) every day for two weeks as their mom has gone to Wisconsin to help care for her mother who is battling cancer. Only a few hours each day, but I've gotten very attached to these boys! We play in the trees and color and read... you know. The family is Jewish, which has been super cool getting to know a culture and it's traditions, especially through Hanukah! I also have kept up with my other 4 families who I watch on the weekends, and Wednesday mornings, whom I also love dearly! :) I love all these kiddos.
Oh yeah, I quit The Pierpont! Great choice on my part. My last day was on Thursday. I will miss some very sweet people, but let's be honest, I won't really miss working there. It was good for the season.
I love thrift stores. A lot.
